About the Novena University Resumption Date for Continuation of 2019/2020 Academic Session

Novena University management has announced the resumption of academic activities. Students, staffs, and everybody in the community of the university are to be informed of the resumption details stated below.

Important Notice

12th, October 2020: All Staff resume duty on campus.

12th, October 2020: Senate Meeting @ 10am

19th Oct 2020: All Students 100 – 400 levels and postgraduate return to campus.

NOTE:

Candidates who are postgraduate and undergraduate students of Novena university are expected to follow the steps for the revalidation of the 2019/2020 academic year.

  1. Students that have made the Payment for charges must ensure the full payment of the same before or on arrival at the university.
  2. The COVID-19 basic test would be carried out on all the staff and students of the institution in line with the Federal Ministry of education and NCDC COVID-19 guidelines.
  3. Make the payment for the COVID-19 facilities upgrade charge of N5,000 for all students.
  4. After the Payment at the Bursary, the students are expected to proceed with the registration reconfirmation/revalidation from the university at the Dean of students affairs Office before reporting to the department. A photocopy of the receipt Issued at Bursary is expected to be deposited with the head of the department for the verification by the registry.
  5. It is compulsory. Students are expected to come with their hand sanitizers and face masks.
  6. Washing of hands at the gate of the University, Hostels, Classrooms, office, and entry points are Mandatory for everyone.
  7. Staff is expected to return on the date scheduled to open their offices for the necessary Protocol activities.
  8. Any violation of the COVID-19 guidelines will further attract serious sanctions.
  9. The adjusted school timetable would be made available by the various heads of department to students immediately after meeting all the stated conditions from October 19 and 20th, 2020.
