The management of Sule Lamido University (SLU) has announced that the online registration for its upcoming screening exercise for both the UTME and DE candidates commenced on Monday 11th January 2021 and was to end Midnight on Sunday 31st, January 2021, but has now been extended to end February 7th, 2021.

Candidates that are yet to register or complete the registration are advised to use this opportunity to do so.

About the SLU Post UTME & Direct Entry Screening Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session

Sule Lamido University (SLU), Kafin Hausa is now inviting applications from all first-choice candidates for admission to register for the Post UTME Screening as stated below. All Direct entry candidates that have made SLU their first choice of institution is also invited to register in order to take part in the exercise.

Eligible candidates for SLU Post UTME

  • Interested candidates are expected to have passed at least a minimum of 5 subjects that are relevant, at credit level, in the senior secondary school certificate examination (SSCE) or two other relevant subjects in a maximum of two sittings of which English and Mathematics must be included.
  • All the direct entry candidates are expected to be in possession of a minimum of lower credit in the National Diploma, merit in NCE, or 8 points in the IJMB advance level.
  • UTME candidates are expected to be with a minimum UTME score of 160, aside from those courses for which higher Cut-off marks have been indicated on the website of the university.
  • All the interested candidate that did not make Sule Lamido university Kalin Hausa as their first choice of institution but are looking forward to studying in the university and scored above 160 in the 2019 UTME, are expected to make a change of course via the website.

How to Apply

The online registration for the screening exercise for both the UTME has been scheduled to hold on Friday, 01 January 2021, and will end on Monday, 01 February 2021. While the DE candidates screening registration has been scheduled to commence on Monday, 01 February 2021 and come to end at midnight on Monday, 01 March 2021.

In other to register for the screening exercise, students are expected to follow the steps below.

  • First, go to the Sule lamido university website at www.slu.edu .ng and then navigate to the admission form menu and click then click “online Application in order to register.
  • Applicants are expected to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only (excluding REMITA charges) as the Post-UTME/DE screening fee via REMITA.
  • Enter accurate information with your accurate details and then click on the Submit button.
  • Immediately after submitting, the system would generate an acknowledgment slip that contains your reference number.

Sule Lamido University Post UTME Screening Exercise Date & Requirements

The Screening exercise scheduled for both the UTME and DE candidates would be sent to students later.

All the candidates are expected to come with the Originals and the photocopies of the documents stated below:

  1. Acknowledgment Slip
  2. Evidence of Payment (RRR Receipt)
  3. UTME Result/DE Registration Slip
  4. SSCE Statement(s) of Result
  5. Certificate of Indigeneship
  6. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
  7. ‘A’ Level Statement of Result (for DE candidates only)

Candidates that fail to appear for the screening exercise on the date that he/she is expected to come would not be considered for the admission into the university during the 2020/2021 academic session.
