Prospective candidates who fulfill the eligibility requirements of the institution are required to pay a fee of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only for application form for the Bayelsa Medical University Screening exercise online. Candidates are expected to make the payment with the use of their ATM debit cards on Interswitch. Candidates are to visit https://my.bmu.edu.ng/application/register, in order to apply for the screening exercise.
Screening Method for the BMU Post UTME
The screening exercise for all candidates applying for admission into the institution would be done strictly online. The exercise will be done by screening the qualifying results of candidates.
The management of the institution has announced that there will be Post UTME neither would there be any Physical Screening. In view of that, candidates are required to fill the online application form, scan, and also upload the necessary documents during the registration process.
Documents Needed for the Screening
Candidates are required to upload the following documents during the registration:
- 2020 UTME Result Slip
- Candidates O’ level result(s)
- Candidates passport photograph
- WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Scratch card(s) details as appropriate
- Sc./HND/ND/NCE Certificate (this applies to Direct Entry candidates)
- Birth Certificate of the candidate
- Candidates certificate of origin.

Direct Entry
Direct Entry candidates who applied to JAMB for admission and chose Bayelsa Medical University as the first choice of the institution should also complete the online application form for the screening exercise. The university will only accept a minimum of Lower Credit for Direct Entry candidates. The university will also accept a minimum of A’ level or its equivalent.
