Bayero University Kano management has released the newly adjusted and approved academic calendar for the 2022/2023 academic session. All students of the institution mentioned earlier are to ensure they take note of the new academic calendar given below.

Monday, 10th July to 10th August, 2023 Registration for both Fresh and Returning Students
Monday, 24th July to 28th October, 2023 First Semester Lectures (13 weeks)
Monday, 11th to 17th September, 2023 Mid-semester Break (1 week)
Monday, 30th October to 25th November, 2023 First Semester Examinations (4 weeks)
Monday, 27th November to 3rd December, 2023 End of Semester Break (1 week)
Monday, 4th December, 2023 to 2nd March, 2024 Second Semester Lectures (13 weeks)
Monday, 15th to 21st January, 2024 Mid-semester Break (1 week)
Monday, 4th March to 30th March, 2024 Second Semester Examinations (4 weeks)
Saturday, 18th May, 2024 End of Session

Wednesday, 22nd – Saturday, 31st March, 2023 Last Week of Lectures / GSP Examination
Monday, 3rd – 29th April, 2023 2020/2021 Second Semester Examinations (3 weeks) including Good Friday, Easter Monday, and Eid El Fit (7th, 10th, 24th & 25th April respectively)
Monday, 1st May, 2023 – 17th June, 2023 End of Session Break (7 Weeks after the Last Examination)
Monday, 10th July, 2023 Beginning of 2022/2023 Academic Session
