Caleb University Full-Time Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Caleb University offers multiple full-time degrees through JAMB, Direct entry, JUPEB, IJMB, or inter-university transfer. The admission process and the requirements for a full-time undergraduate degree are listed below.

JAMB Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking Caleb University through the JAMB admission process must meet the following requirements.

Firstly, Applicants must possess five(5) SSC credit passes, Including English Language, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects to their field of study, in not more than one sitting.
Secondly, Applicants must sit for the year’s JAMB UTME and surpass the school cut-off of 160.
Only candidates who surpass the school’s JAMB cut-off will be eligible for the post-UTME exercise.
Candidates must ensure they have the right subject combination relevant to their field of study.

Is it Called Remedial or Pre-Degree in Caleb University?

The pre-degree/Remedial program aims to prepare students for entry into the undergraduate program at the 100 level. But Caleb University does not offer a Pre-degree/Remedial program.

Direct-Entry Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking entry into Caleb University through Direct entry for the 2024/2025 academic session can check below for its requirements.

Candidates must possess Credits in at least five (5) O’Level subjects, including English and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two (2) sittings.
Also, candidates who possess a BSc, HND holder or its equivalent (for HND holders, an ND certificate is needed) are eligible for Direct entry.

Is it Called IJMB or JUPEB in Caleb University?

Caleb University offers JUPEB as its A-level program. The JUPEB program at Caleb University is designed to provide a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in various disciplines.

It is a one-year program divided into two semesters. JUPEB is an alternative pathway for students who wish to gain admission into higher education institutions but may not have met the traditional requirements.

IJMB to Full-Time Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Firstly, Applicants must surpass the required cut-off of 5.0 in their JUPEB (A-level result).
Applicants are to get a Direct Entry form from JAMB to apply.
Lastly, applicants must fulfil all O-Level and Direct Entry (DE) requirements.

Inter-University Transfer Undergraduate Admission Requirements

Firstly, Applicants must have completed at least a session in the previous institution and have a 2.5 CGPA.

Caleb University Full-Time Postgraduate Admission Requirements

Caleb University offers multiple full-time postgraduate degrees, a postgraduate diploma (PGD), a Master’s degree(MSc), and a Doctorate (PhD). Furthermore, candidates seeking admission into the school’s full-time postgraduate degree program for the 2024/2025 academic session can find the requirements for each degree below.

Postgraduate Diploma or Certificate

Candidates applying for admission into Caleb University Postgraduate Diploma Program must satisfy the following requirements:

Candidates must possess a minimum of (Five) 5 ‘O’ Level credit passes at one or two sittings at most. Two credit passes must be in English Language and Mathematics and any other three as may be specified in the Regulations for admission into the respective Colleges/Departments.
Candidates must possess a minimum of a pass Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a University recognised by the Senate of the NOUN OR a Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit.

Master’s Degree Programme

Candidates applying for admission into Caleb University’s Master’s degree program must satisfy the following requirements:

All applicants must have a minimum of Five (5) credits, including English and Mathematics in WAEC or NECO, in a maximum of two sittings).
Applicants must have obtained a good first degree, at least a second-class lower division, in an appropriate field of study at Caleb University or any other recognised University. A PGD at credit/merit level pass is also acceptable.

Doctoral Degree (PhD) Programme

Candidates applying for admission into the Caleb University Doctoral Degree (PhD) Program must satisfy the following requirements:

All applicants must have a minimum of Five (5) credits, including English and Mathematics in WAEC or NECO, in a maximum of two sittings).
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in the relevant field of study from a University recognised by the Senate of the NOUN with a minimum score average of not less than 60% or a cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 on a 5-point scale.
