The management of the Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku is pleased to announce to students of the institution and the general public that the polytechnic will resume for her second semester 2019/2020 academic session sequel to the approval of the Delta State government.

Resumption Date
The Academic Board of the institution had previously picked a date for the resumption of school activities which was approved to be on the 4th of May 2020. Lectures were supposed to commence on that day. However, the State Government directives that all schools should remain closed until the 31st of May 2020 made the date fixed ineffective.
School activities were to be resumed under the approval of the State Government. The State government has now approved the new date that has been fixed for the resumption of school activities.

The resumption date for the completion of the second semester 2019/2020 academic session has been fixed for Friday 2nd October 2020. The date has also been approved by the State Government. However, all academic and non-academic staff of the institution are to resume work on Monday 21st September 2020.
The memo which was released from the Registrar’s office at the end of the Academic Board Meeting held on September 17th, 2020, stated that all returning staff and students must comply with all COVID 19 directives as there will be thorough check at the gate and also in the lecture halls.
