About the LAUTECH Pre-Degree Admission Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session
The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH) is now inviting applications from all candidates who have been recognized as suitable and qualified for admission for the academic session of 2020/2021.
LAUTECH Pre-Degree Programme Duration
This programmes would be taking place for a period of (6) six calendar months and after that, an intensive and compulsory ICT programme would run all through for a period of three months just after the commencing of the final examination while candidates are waiting for the admission into the degree programmes.
Pre-degree Admission Requirements
Candidates are expected to be in possession of minimum SSCE, NECO GCE Ordinary Level or NABTEB in a maximum of two sittings, with nothing less than credit in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. Any candidate that did not meet with the admission requirements is expected to hold back their plans of applying for admission.
Screening Exercise
The application screening process would be taking place starting from 9:00 am to 4:00 p.m every day. Successful applicants would be required to proceed to the PDS complex for their screening exercise. All the applicants are also expected to note that subsequent examination during the programme would be (CBT)
Placement into Degree Programmes
The Placement into any degree programmes would be done based on the performance done at the end of the programmes, admission requirements, vacancy in the desired degree programme, and partaking in intensive ICT training.
Applicants are expected to make sure that they acquire the 2021 UTME Form, sit for the examination that would be taking place, and pass the minimum cut off mark as it may be determined by the senate university.
Information on Choice of Programme
Each of the candidates is expected to make at least two choices out of the undergraduate programme option available at LAUTECH as stated below. The choices are separated into Groups A and B. Each of the candidates are required to select only one programme from two of any groups. Candidates are expected not to make the choice from the same groups.

How to Apply
To apply for the LAUTECH Pre-Degree Admission Form for the 2020/2021 Academic Session follow the process stated below:
- Applicants are required to go to the pre-degree Application Website to make their payment of about Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00) to acquire the Application Form and registration online making use of Interswitch enabled Debit Cards (ATM). You can acquire the form via this URL http://pds.lautech.edu.ng/pdform2019/.
- Each of the candidates is required to carefully complete and make the submission for the application form online. Any application this is not complete would not be given any attention.
Closing Date
The deadline for the submission of the Application Form would be taking place from Thursday, December 31, 2020. Each candidate is expected to ensure that the slip for the examination bearing his/her passport photograph is downloaded and printed to show as proof of successful submission of the form.
NOTE: Any late completion/submission of forms will not receive any attention.
Candidates successful with the application are expected to proceed to the Pre-Degree Science Complex in LAUTECH, Ogbomoso along with the Application print-out and O’level result(s) for screening. Applicants should take note of the fact that the examinations during the programme will also be (CBT).
