Port Harcourt poly is now inviting applications from all interested and suitably qualified candidates who want to apply for admission into the under-listed Full-time National Diploma (ND) programmes of Captain Elechi Amadi polytechnic for the academic session of 2021/2022.

Port Harcourt Polytechnic Post UTME Eligibility

  • The national diploma programmes admission is now available to candidates who sat and passed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination that took place in the 2020/2021 academic session and scored above 120 points and above and meets the cut-off point for the programmes they want to sit for.
  • All applicants may be expected to undergo a screening exercise. Applicants would get notified about the venue and the date that the screening exercise would hold.
  • Candidates who did not make captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic Rumuola, port Harcourt are also free to apply for the post UTME exam as the opportunity for the admissions is limited to ND programmes for the 2020/2021 Academic year. (candidates are expected to make a change of choice for JAMB and Make the institution their first choice)

Plus, to the general entry requirements, applicants are expected to have acquired 1 credit pass in any of the following subjects, they include Further Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, Technical Drawing, Building Construction, Woodwork, Concreting, Plumbing, Carpentry, and Pipe Fitting, Geography, Basic Electronics/ Basic Electricity, and Economics.

Method of Application

Applications for all programmes should be carried out online through the Polytechnic’s Website www.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng or http://ecampus.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng.

Application Form costs Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N2, 500.00) only and Three Hundred Naira (N300.00) only as portal and bank charges respectively.

All interested candidates are expected to apply online by logging into the Polytechnic’s portal: www.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng or http://ecampus.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng Click on “Application to proceed”. Candidates can make the e-payment by either generating a transaction ID for the fee online and then proceed to any of the designated Banks (Zenith Bank, First Bank, UBA, Fidelity Bank, Sterling Bank, FCMB and Union Bank) to pay, using the Pay Direct option or with an Interswitch enabled Verve or Master Card.

Please note that all Applicants are required to submit their Application Receipts to the Bursary Department for verification before proceeding to the Admissions Office for submission.

All Completed online forms must be printed and submitted to the Admissions Office with Confirmed Application Receipts and other supporting documents/credentials not later than 30th September, 2021.
