Eligibility Criteria
In order to gain entry into the Rivers State University (RSU), Port Harcourt Sandwich degree programmes for the 2019/2020 academic session, candidates are required to meet certain eligibility criteria. These are the following eligibility criteria and requirements:
- Candidates seeking admission into a 2-year sandwich degree programs are required to possess an OND or NCE certificates in Agricultural Education, Business Education, Science Education, and Technical Education; an NCE certificate in any subject combination for Adult and Community Education
- Candidates who have passed at credit or merit level in two relevant subjects of the Associate Diploma in Education are eligible to apply for the Sandwich degree programmes as well
Candidates who meet the aforementioned criteria must additionally possess relevant O’ level requirement or its equivalent and /or NABTEB credit or merit which must include English Language and Mathematics. It should be noted a sandwich year includes long vacation, Christmas and Easter vacations

The Application form for the Rivers State University (RSU), Port Harcourt sandwich degree programme costs ten thousand (10,000.00) Naira only as candidates are to log on to the official online platform at www.ust.edu.ng ORÂ www.rsu.edu.ng in order make an e- payment by generating a transaction ID for the fee and proceed to any designated bank to pay using the Pay Direct option or pay via Interswitch enabled Verve Card.

Candidates are required to submit completed application forms accompanied by photocopies of relevant credentials and proof of payment to the Secretary, Institute of Education before the deadline date for application scheduled for midnight of 31st of March, 2020.
