About WSA YOUNG INNOVATORS CALL OPEN 2023

WSA (World Summit Awards) is a unique awards system, selecting and promoting local digital innovation to improve society.

Combining an ongoing  series of international events and activities with a global network of start-ups, social entrepreneurs, mentors, jurors, speakers, experts, government leaders, academia and civil society, WSA is an international platform for cutting edge examples of how ICTs can impact society in a positive way.

Program Details

With 20 years of international experience, WSA is a quality seal for digital content with societal impact in over 182 participating countries.

The WSA Young Innovators are a special recognition for young people under 26 years of age, using ICTs to take action on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). The submitted solutions have to include:

  • development by young innovators under the age of 26 (born on or after January 1, 1997)
  • digital impact solutions
  • market ready or already launched on the market

BENEFIT

The World Summit Awards are a non-monetary award system with a focus on sustainable knowledge transfer through a worldwide network. This means that winners benefit not from a one time financial reward, but a lifelong partnership and integration.

Eligibility

  • WSA is open to any company, organisation or individual in any UN and UNESCO member state.
  • The participation in the WSA Young Innovators award is restricted to any entrepreneur, company, student group or project team, where at least one of the founding members and the majority of the team is  under the age of 26 (born on or after January 1, 1997) from any of the UN and UNESCO member states.
